The Charlottesville Family History Conference
The Charlottesville Family History Conference started in 2005 and has been steadily growing
The 2016 conference theme will be The Art And Science of Geneaology and
the keynote speaker will be Dr. John Butler, who has worked with DNA testing for 20 years. Dr. Butler has a Ph.D is analytical chemistry and has taught and lectured widely.
Twenty classes will be presented from 10:00-12:00 p.m., and from 1:00-3:00 p.m, covering subjects varying from basic family history to the latest search engine capabilities to DNA research. A class on the improvements to FamilySearch tools will also be presented.
The conference is free and open to the public.
